your journal should represent the name of your celebrity. philton, nicole, lohanl are all acceptable. please refrain from using usernames that play off your celebs name like prettyinparis or hotbitchnicole. your character should be aged and iconed circa 2005 for the sake of keeping things as realistic as possible. for examples please provide one scene and one journal or narrative entry for our review. if you are not accepted the mods felt you would not be a good fit within the gpsl. comments asking about rejections will not be responded to. any challenges will be decided based on examples.

activity
this is a gpsl so we'd like to keep things relaxed. please post at least one substantial update (200 words or more) a month and prove activity by either making or responding to at least two random posts a month. activity checks will be conducted on the last friday of every month. we can't make this place live - it's up to you. please don't feel limited by the minimum activity requirements. we want to see the friends page filled with posts. update whenever the mood strikes you. please feel free to utilize alternate formats for your updates as well (ohnotheydidn't posts, gossip blog posts, etc).

this week in history
once a week the mods will post a recap of events from that week in 2005. you can feel free to use what is posted for updates, interactions, gossip posts etc or not. it's up to you. we'll try to post the juciest gossip we can find each time to ensure lots of fun drama for all. and please feel free to do your own research. it's unlikely we'll be able to recap every move your celebs made ten years ago, but you are free to bring up anything you find and fabricate events when your celeb seems to be in a dry spell. the mod team is always open to suggestions so if you have anything you'd like added to the history posts, or have any ideas for more fun activities we can plan to help keep things lively please feel free to stop by the drop box.
